Asociación Creciendo Yaiza is a non-profit association whose objective is to allow children and young people with special educational needs of different types to have equal opportunities in any area of life (educational, welfare and social), by encouraging them to take part in activities beneficial to their condition and giving them new, fun ways to learn, strengthening their abilities and communication skills.

This Saturday the 7th of April we will be hosting an event right here at Karting Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen for the kids and their families where we will be taking them all out on our amazing championship track in our two seater karts so they can race with there friends, the more able drivers will be able to compete with each other on our junior track. The association was founded in July 2013 when a group of parents with children who have special educational needs joined us, soon after we started visiting the capital of the island, Arrecife, which is more than 30 kilometers from our homes so that our children could access therapies and activities adapted to their situation, with the effort that involves families (already committed) and other children from the community to interact and help less abled to have fun.

This is a great foundation that really helps bring a newly found zest for life, interacting and learning. This is achieved by setting up group activities where th children can join in with friends having fun.
