Its been a difficult time globally and we have all had to make some serious changes to the way we all live, work and play in the wake of the Covid-19 lockdown. Here at Gran Karting we have been working hard to ensure that we have implemented all the requirements to help all our visitors stay safe at the track, every aspect of our service and premises have been scrutinised by the team to be sure we have all points covered.

As the first planes started arriving here we instantly received calls from locals and holiday makers alike to see if the track was open, unfortunately it just wasn't possible for us to open so quickly as much as we would have loved to accommodate everybody we just had too much work to do to be sure we had the track ready. Just prior to the lockdown we had taken delivery of brand new Junior karts to the track, so just as the track team were preparing to get the new karts all ready for use we had to stop.

But dont panic, we are back on track and so are the karts, by the time we are open again on the 16th of July im sure visitors will be used to the new Cover-19 procedures i.e hand sanitising, social distancing etc so there will be nothing here that you will not be familiar with. Any body that has visit Karting Lanzarote before will know we have one of the largest Go-Kart tracks in Europe so keeping to social distancing guidelines will not be a problem here. Our team will be sanitising the helmets, Karts and surrounding areas between races as guided. All of the staff are undergoing Covid-19 training as are all businesses here on the Island, the Canarian government have been doing everything to ensure that businesses here are ready to receive travellers.
